-“You do your thing and we'll do ours”.
It was with these words that I was allowed to photograph Rockadictos' rehearsals that take place below Chucho's motorcycle workshop at the corner of Paullier and Charrúa in Montevideo.
Down there, sorrounded by motorcycles, oil and screws is where I met the rest of the band members: Walo in drums and Sapo in double bass, and started to report this 50s rock band from Montevideo.
“Pájaro Tronador” is the spanish translation for Thunderbird, the name of the Triumph motorcycle model that Marlon Brando used in the film "The Wild One”. IT's that bike that Cucho has in his workshop and it's on it where I have so sat so many times while taking pictures of the rehearsals.
